1st Semester Done!

This morning was the hand-in date for our 1st semester work. So far I've found the course a bit... odd. For the first project I had to design a waste bin in the style of another designer. My idea of being at uni was to develop my own creative style, so to be designing in anothers didn't seem right! Once I got developing ideas and came up with `Bin Dude` I quite enjoyed it but the second project didn't really interest me.

We had to pick six emotions and attach them to a sense (See, Touch, Hear). We then had to show that emotion & sense in a photograph and illustration. I produced one illustration that I really liked, pictured below. It was for fear.

The software tutorials are quite dull and boring seeing as I already know the software packages quite well. The videos drag on and on, there was a whole section dedicated on how to zoom in!! Here's hoping for a more interesting 2nd Semester!!!
